Jambiani Village Tour
This cultural village tour takes you to Jambiani, a fishing village on the East coast of Zanzibar. A guide will tell you about the history of the village and take you to a traditional herbalist, who will show you the local medicines, herbs and their uses.
You will also visit seaweed farms run by women, a local organic plantation on coral stone and women groups who make ropes from coconut husks and handicrafts. A typical Zanzibarian meal is served for lunch. This day trip gives you an opportunity to visit some community projects, talk with local people and participate in their daily life activities.
